If you are struggling with a balance disorder or dizziness, we will offer you a free 15 minute telephone appointment to see if vestibular rehabilitation is right for you.

If we think Vestibular Rehabilitation is suitable we will book you in for a 90 minute appointment with a dizziness specialist at our clinic.

Vestibular rehabilitation (90 minutes)

Your appointment will involve an assessment of your symptoms including:

• Questions about your dizziness/imbalance, covering when it started and any triggers.

• Questions about your medical history, including any medications you take.

• Questions about your lifestyle.

• An ear examination

• As part of your hearing and balance care we will conduct a hearing test.

• Tests of your balance

• Diagnostic tests including testing for BPPV

• Treatment manoeuvres (for example an Epley) and/or development of an individual management plan, which will likely include vestibular rehabilitation exercises.

Follow up

We will recommend a follow up in 2-6 weeks to progress your exercises and update your management plan to further improve your symptoms and balance.

Our aim is to help you have enough understanding and guidance to manage your symptoms within 3 appointments.
